University of Connecticut’s Fall 2018 Day of Pride Scholarship and Nutmeg Scholarship nomination deadline is October 15, 2017. Nominations submitted on Monday, October 16, 2017, will be considered on-time.

The Nutmeg Scholarship information should be shared with students that are finalists or semi-finalists in the National Achievement Scholarship Program, National Hispanic Recognition Program, and the National Merit Scholarship Program.  In addition to these categories, you may also select those outstanding students from your secondary school who are competitive applicants but have not received recognition from these prestigious organizations.

The Day of Pride Scholarship seeks to recognize outstanding students from diverse/multicultural backgrounds who have contributed significantly to their school and community. The student’s demonstrated financial need may be taken into consideration during the scholarship selection process. The Estimated Financial Form that is part of the Day of Pride Scholarship process is only required of applicants who are selected for an interview and will be emailed to the applicant directly by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
