Katelyn Moore

This is Mrs. Moore's 5th year at BMA and her 9th year in teaching. She is originally from Long Island, NY and moved to Connecticut from Fort Hood, Texas. She has taught Spanish I, II, III, III Honors, International Baccalaureate Spanish, Ethics for Public Safety, Senior Capstone, and Community Service Class. She graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies and in 2010 with a Master of Science in Education. Señora Moore was an Army Wife for 5 years while her husband was on active duty. During this time, she served as a Family Readiness Group leader and volunteered at the Fort Hood USO.

Mrs. Moore was named Bridgeport Military Academy 2018 Teacher of the Year
