William O. Glass Jr.
Captain Glass is a member, past president and Paul Harris Fellow of the Wilton Rotary Club. He is also a past president and current vice president of the Western Connecticut Chapter of the Military Officers Association, and serves as Senior Vice Commander of American Legion Post 86, Wilton, Conn. Captain Glass' wife Susan is a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology at Stamford Hospital. He has two children, Ginny, a third grade teacher in Maryland, and Eric, a recent graduate of Gettysburg College.
Captain Glass is the Senior Naval Science instructor at Bridgeport Military Academy. He is a 25 year veteran of the US Navy and Naval Reserve, having served on a variety of surface ships and shore staffs. He retired from the Navy in in 2003. During his service, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal (Gold Star in lieu of second award), the Armed Forces Reserve Medal, the National Defense Medal, and numerous service ribbons and unit awards. Captain Glass was commissioned through the Navy ROTC program at Northwestern University, where he also earned a BS in Journalism and an MS in Advertising.Prior to joining BMA, Captain Glass was, for over 20 years, vice president and general manager of Connecticut Marketing Associates, a marketing and management consulting firm in Wilton, Connecticut, where he was responsible for new business development, client service and project management.
